GPR Ventures announces 100% tenancy at 260,000 SQFT Metro Center campus in Natomas
June 4, 2020

GPR Ventures, a privately held real estate investment firm based in Sacramento and the Silicon Valley, has reached 100 percent tenant capacity at a 258,447 square foot property in Natomas. GPR Ventures acquired the property in October 2017 at a 79 percent occupancy rate and has since implemented several large capital improvements including upgrades to an on-site fitness center and the creation of new outdoor seating areas. The company is also implementing several new protocols and procedures to enhance safety and encourage social distancing throughout the property.

Handwashing stations are positioned in the lobbies for use upon entering each building, and elevators may be occupied by only two people at a time. Markers placed on the elevator floor indicate where tenants should stand, while additional signage and visual cues are displayed throughout the property to promote handwashing and social distancing.

“GPR Ventures always takes a very active role in tenant relations, and our top priority during this time is to support our tenants as we navigate the pandemic together,” said GPR Ventures co-founder and Managing Principal Phil Rolla. “We hope that implementing these health and safety measures, in addition to the state-of-the-art enhancements and amenities on this campus, will help our tenants feel safe, welcome and comfortable as they begin returning to their offices.”

The campus, located at 2700-2720 Gateway Oaks Drive in Sacramento, consists of four commercial office buildings. In addition to serving as GPR Ventures’ Sacramento headquarters, the tenant base also includes three California State Department offices and the Sacramento campus of Samuel Merritt University, a private university focused on health sciences. Sutter Valley Hospitals, an extension of Sutter Health, also has offices within the campus.

In nearly three years of ownership, GPR Ventures has performed a wide range of improvements throughout the property, including an updated fitness center with new cardio equipment and weight machines. Tenants can access private patio spaces with chairs, tables and large umbrellas for shade, or use one of the many built-in benches interspersed throughout the property. Water features, sculptures and updated landscaping highlight the exterior improvements.

The development also includes a café occupied by local deli City Café, which is open for takeout orders.
