GPR Ventures, a privately held real estate investment firm based in Sacramento and the Silicon Valley, has announced a new tenant lease at its 59,712 square foot office building located on Gateway Oaks Drive in Natomas. Flatiron, a Colorado-based construction firm, has signed a 48-month lease on a 12,983 square foot unit in the property. The firm occupies 13 locations across the United States and Canada and has expanded its footprint into the Sacramento Region to partner with Caltrans on an upcoming highway improvement project. GPR Ventures will begin a series of renovations, including upgrades to the lobby and cafe, in the coming weeks.
“We are excited that one of our properties is contributing to the growth and development of the Sacramento market by bringing in new tenants that will invest back into the local community,” said GPR Ventures co-founder and Managing Principal Phillip Rolla. “We look forward to completing additional renovations in the coming weeks in a continued effort to provide tenants with modern, upgraded spaces.”
GPR Ventures acquired the property in October 2019 and will begin planned enhancements on the lobby, cafe, and other common areas. The lobby will receive new flooring installation, refreshed paint and updated artwork, lighting and seating. Upgrades, including new paint, are planned for the bathrooms, as well.
The Gateway Oaks property currently houses the headquarters of the Rex and Margaret Fortune School of Education. Other tenants include Cardno, Inc. and the Judicial Council of California.
